Garbage, 2018
A comic that looks at the alt-right groups of the Unite the Right protest in Charlottesville, VA. Watching this event in LA, it was hard to understand who these people were and where they came from. I take selection of the most prominent alt-right groups represented and talk about their backgrounds and beliefs. It was a way for me to process events that happened to a place I grew up and involved people I knew.
Both of these comics, as well as The West That Always Never Was, are available at any convention that I have a table at.
One of my goals for years has been to table at a convention and this year I fulfilled that goal! So far I’ve tabled at four different events: Long Beach Comic Expo, Wondercon, Joshua Tree Zine Fest, and LA Zine Fest. It’s been great meeting with people and talking about comics and reverse mermaids!
